Anne Penman, a native of Northern Ireland herself, is thrilled to be going home to her roots with Tina’s opening in Belfast.
Dr. Tina McCutcheon, who is based in Ballywalter, is a well-known name in her field and feels that adding the Anne Penman Laser Therapy method to her already established practice will benefit her clients – old and new.
I have had my own private practice since 1984 and I am always looking for treatments and methods that will help people live healthier, more fulfilled lives,’ says Tina.

Tina trained as a general and paediatric nurse and went on to become a sister on a special care baby unit. In 1984 she trained in acupuncture and decided to go into private practice. She is now a member of the Council for Acupuncture, the Association of Osteomyologists and the International College of Applied Kinesiology.
‘My grandmother was a herbalist and acupuncturist so I think that is where my passion comes from,’ says Tina. ‘I remember spending many happy childhood years picking herbs and learning about them. And as an adult I have studied extensively in the use of herbal, homeopathic and nutritional medicines.
‘These have involved a pilot study on the effects of laser acupuncture on back pain as well as a thesis on the use of traditional medicines and rituals in the prevention and treatment of post-natal depression.’
Tina, like Anne Penman, is a busy lady and devotes her life to spreading the word about alternative treatments that will improve the quality of people’s lives. As well as her very busy and successful practice in Northern Ireland she sees clients in London, Spain and Malaysia.
